Annie Stallings

I started my journey as a group exercise enthusiast and was inspired to become a group exercise instructor by my instructors at Woodlake Aquatics & Fitness Center. I became AFAA certified as a group exercise instructor, followed by certifying as a Personal Trainer with AFAA and soon after completed my Stott Pilates certification in Essential and Intermediate Mat and Reformer.  With a strong background in Ballet studies and performance, I participated in a weekend workshop at the  DCAC fitness conference to become certified in Balletone, a ballet based fitness workout for “every-body”.  I was Zumba certified for years, then moved on to certify in Les Mills Bodystep, BodyJam and Sh’Bam to better concentrate on those formats.  I have since become Mossa certified in Groove, another dance fitness program. I now hold certifications with Barre Basics and am an IFTA certified Barre instructor.   I am also CPR certified in adult/child/infant and work part time in a physician’s office.

My freestyle teaching experience spans over 20 years of experience ranging from Hi/Lo aerobics, dance aerobics, step, cardio kickboxing, muscle conditioning, weight training and Barre, the latter of which I now consider my passion!

I love working with people in a group setting as well as one on one to improve fitness levels by promoting a fun-filled safe workout environment!
